BBC Breakfast viewers have taken to social media to question where Charlie Stayt is.

Charlie and co-host Naga Munchetty usually front the show from Thursdays – Saturdays, but again Charlie seems to be missing.

One fan wrote: "What have you done with Charlie ?? #BBCBreakfast"

A second added: "#bbcbreakfast Who pulled Charlie off this morning?"

On Thursday's show (July 27), Naga was instead sat next to Ben Thompson, who filled in Charlie's space on the sofa.

He appeared to have been missing a lot from the show the week previous also.

On Friday's episode (July 21), the presenter was missing for a second day in a row.

Ben was the man for the job again as he filled in the presenting slot.

Charlie and Naga have been presenting together for almost ten years on the BBC show.

Though their annual salaries are very different, according to reports.

Earlier this month, BBC shared its annual star salaries report for 2022-23.

Naga appeared to be earning a staggering amount more than Charlie, with her raking in between £335,000 and £339,000.

Whereas her co-star Charlie earned between £190,000 and £194,999.
