BBC EastEnders fans ‘rumble’ Christmas death after spotting ‘real murder weapon’

EastEnders fans reckon they have worked out what the murder weapon will be in the upcoming Christmas murder plot.

The festive season always sees some big shocks in soapland and this year is going to be a cracker, with Albert Square set to see a brutal death. Fans have already been treated to a flashforward that revealed the drama is set to unfold as Sharon (Letitia Dean) gets married.

Nobody knows who is going to be killed – or at whose hands. But lots of Walford's women are in the frame and fans of the BBC soap have been playing the guessing game for weeks.

In the flashforward that aired in February, Denise was seen clutching a broken bottle which could have been used to kill the man lying dead in The Queen Vic pub. But viewers think it might be a red herring.

A preview clip for an upcoming instalment from Walford included a moment with a vase. Avani was seen with the ornament and and Suki was also seen moving it from the table.

Fans now think they have worked out that it will used to off whoever happens to be the unlucky Christmas victim. Many believe the vase wouldn’t have come up unless it was important.

“What if Nish is murdered with it?” one person posted on X, which was formerly Twitter. Someone else said: “I wonder if Avani’s vase actually means something bigger if she keeps carrying it around. Could it be a weapon at Christmas to whoever’s been killed?”

“Something tells me the vase will play an important role in #TheSix at Christmas,” said another fan. “Can anyone see Avani's vase in the flashforward or any of the six trailers?” posted someone else.

“I wonder if the significance of the vase is because it’s the Christmas murder weapon,” another fan wondered.

Stacey Slater, Linda Carter, Sharon Watts, Kathy Beale, Denise Fox and Suki Panesar are the six ladies seen standing over the body in the Queen Vic, and it's suggested one of them will be the killer.
