BBC EastEnders star Jessie Wallace looks worlds away from Kat Slater in a forgotten TV role.
The 51-year-old actress has played the iconic EastEnders character on and off since 2000.
But before she landed the role as Kat, Jessie appeared in an episode of hit police drama, The Bill.
Jessie played P.C. Karen Lace in an episode called A Night To Forget and a picture of her in her police uniform resurfaced on Twitter this week.
The star looked fresh faced with her dark hair in a short style very similar to how it looked when she first started in EastEnders.
Jessie and the rest of the Slater family joined the BBC soap in September 2000, before she left in 2005.
