Strictly Come Dancing release trailer for new series
The BBC has finally released the official Strictly Come Dancing 2023 launch trailer, which is set to air on Saturday evening on BBC One.
The glamourous video clip shows the professional dancers performing a routine that was filmed at the Tate Britain in London, and set to an orchestral version of Snap!’s ‘Rhythm is a Dancer’.
The dance performance will open the launch show when it takes place later this month.
Professionals who have already been revealed for the upcoming series include Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Vito Coppola, and last year’s winner Jowita Przystal, who won the Glitterball trophy in 2022 with her dance partner, Hamza Yassin.
In a first glimpse, the cast of 15 professional dancers appears in the trailer dressed in dazzling gold and black outfits.

As the professional dancers are drawn into the historic building they perform a striking routine on the steps.
As for now, who their celebrity partners will be remains a secret only to be revealed in the first episode of the new season.
