Fans of Strictly Come Dancing were not best pleased with Loose Women's Charlene White as she predicted Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola would be next to leave the competition.

The 43-year-old appeared on Strictly's It Takes Two to give her take on the final four reaming dancers left in the contest. But when presenter Fleur East asked her celebrity panel who would be next to leave, Charlene made a "controversial" assumption.

She said: "OK, controversially and this only because I want Anabel to stay in, I'm gonna say Ellie and Vito." While presenting a photo of the couple in her hand, she added: "Also because I like being controversial."

But fans at home didn't take to kindly to Charlene's suggestion and headed over to X formerly known as Twitter to complain. One viewer fumed: "Ellie & Vito. She clearly hadn’t been watching this series."

Another astonished fan fumed: "Charlene hadn’t annoyed me until that last second of her saying Ellie and Vito. I knew it was too good to be true."

A third chimed: "Is she serious? Ellie and Vito?" While another added: "I’m so defensive when it comes to Ellie and Vito. They deserve the best lol."

Former Coronation Street star Ellie has been riding high in the competition alongside professional dancer Vito. Since week four, presenter Fleur also revealed that the popular duo has continued to score 34 and above for their mesmerising routines.
