BBC Breakfast viewers were gobsmacked as Brits were told not to leave Paddington bears and marmalade sandwiches for the Queen.
Floods of mourning Brits have been bringing Paddington teddy bears and marmalade sandwiches into Green Park to honour the Queen – as well as flowers and other gifts.
But the Royal Parks charity, which manages the sites where people are leaving tributes, asked members of the public to stop bringing bears and snacks and to only leave unwrapped flowers as a tribute.

Royal fans will remember the Queen's iconic Platinum Jubilee sketch with Paddington Bear earlier this year which saw the pair have afternoon tea.
The video sketch saw Paddington drink all the tea before offering Her Majesty a marmalade sandwich, famously his favourite snack.
But the Queen hilariously replied that she always keeps a marmalade sandwich in her handbag "for later".
It was BBC Breakfast host Sally Nugent who passed on the sandwich plea from Royal Parks.

Appearing live from Buckingham Palace, she said: "I just want to bring you a little bit of advice that's come from the Royal Parks this morning. They are suggesting that there are enough Paddingtons and marmalade sandwiches in the parks at the moment.
"So please, feel free to bring flowers but maybe don't bring anymore Paddingtons or marmalade sandwiches for now."
BBC viewers were taken aback by the teddy bear update and took to Twitter to air their confusion.
One fan wrote: "Thought we might have reached peak weird but how wrong was I?"

A second said: "It’s a bit daft they’ve had to announce this, but also a bit [heartbreak emoji]".
A third commented: "The most British tweet that you’ll read today"
A fourth added: "I had no idea there was an acceptable level of marmalade sandwiches to be abandoned in the royal parks."
The Queen passed away "peacefully" aged 96 at her Balmoral estate on Thursday (September 8).
