BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty took a savage swipe at her co-star Matt Taylor as he joined the presenters in the studio.
During Thursday’s visit to the BBC studio, the 47-year-old and her co-host Charlie Stayt welcomed viewers back onto the red sofa as they discussed the latest news headlines on the show.
One of the biggest stories on everyone’s lips was the ongoing struggles of the cost-of-living crisis, and the newsreader made sure to demand answers from this morning’s politicians.

And it appears as though no one is safe from Naga’s wrath when she took aim at the beloved weather reporter with a cheeky swipe after he shared the latest weather report on the show.
The show’s meteorologists usually report the weather forecast from a range of beautiful rural locations up and down the country.
But rather than communicating via a video link, the presenter joined the duo in the studio as he stood off to the side to update viewers on the changeable weather coming up this week.
Charlie welcomed him on to the show, saying: “It’s 6.45, Matt’s got the weather for us right over there” as Naga chimed in with: “It’s nice to have you other there!”
Happy to be back in the studio, Matt replied: “Good morning, it’s lovely to be over here!” before he turned his attention to the weather.
He asked the two presenters: “Now, have you noticed it’s started to get a bit darker a bit earlier?” to which the raven-haired beauty cheekily quipped: “Yes, [in] this job, you cannot help but notice it getting darker in the mornings.”
Matt enthusiastically replied with: “Exactly, we’re at that time of year where over the next few weeks we lose daylight at the quickest rates.”

It was at this point that Naga realised: “Oh no! The clocks change soon!” as the meteorologist joked: “That’s cheered you up on a Thursday morning, hasn’t it?”
Clearly disappointed with the news, the newsreader sarcastically remarked: “So glad you’re here…”
“You’re welcome!” Matt cheerfully replied before he pointed out: “Still getting the lovely sunrises though as we can see here in Hinderwell, North Yorkshire.”
He went on to reveal what viewers can expect in the next few days as the weather begins to cool following the unusually hot summer.
