Neil Jones shocked in background as Shirley Ballas scores Angela Rippon 6
A fresh Strictly Come Dancing fix row has emerged involving Angela Rippon, 79, after some stars of the 2024 tour were announced.
The annual tour dates included a mix of celebrity contestants from the 2023 series – and so far Angela, Layton Williams and Ellie Leach are all confirmed.
However, the reveal has not sat well with some Strictly Come Dancing fans who have already voiced their opinions on Angela being “overmarked” by the show’s judges.
They have now flagged a potential fresh fix, with one Reddit using writing: “Ah, that’s why they’re going so easy on Angela R.”
A second penned: “79 and doing tour? Respect to Rippon. but ooooof.

“What a bad time to announce this because now the conspiracy theories and hate about her will ramp up even more.”
Another simply shared: “So happy with Ellie and Layton, those two are incredible dancers and I can’t wait to see them live. Hopefully Nigel, Bobby, Angela S and maybe Krishnan will join.”
The other stars taking part in the tour are set to be announced in due course.
