Aesha Scott reveals John Mayer encounter
Fans are used to seeing Below Deck’s Aesha Scott onboard the Parsifal III as a deckhand but now she’s getting her hands dirty in the jungle.
This week, the star recalled the moment she met John Mayer after he admitted to “watching all” of her Below Deck seasons.
She detailed her surprising encounter with musician John on a chat show and it turns out he is a big fan of her reality show.
On Tuesday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia, the reality star told her campmate Woody Whitelaw, that she met the US singer revealing he has watched all of her Below Deck seasons.
Scott first met Mayer on the chat show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, in July last year.

In a confessional, she explained: “I was on a show with John Mayer and I found out months later that he had gone and watched all of my seasons. So I was very touched by that.”
After Scott explained the story to Whitelaw, he teased that the singer was romantically interested in her.
The radio show host probed her if Mayer flirted with her during their encounter.
Scott insisted: “I don’t think he was being overly flirty. He was just being nice.”
To which Whitelaw replied: “I think he was keen, Aesha. I think he might have been a little bit keen.
“He’s watched all your episodes of Below Deck and then he has asked about you four months, I’ve got a feeling John Mayer is still pretty keen,” he added.
Before joking: “I know you’re a taken woman. You should steer clear of John Mayer,” referring to her ongoing relationship with Scott Dobson.
It then seemed that Whitelaw began trying his chances with the reality star.

The Will & Woody co-host began showering Scott with compliments as she laughed hysterically.
“You are so beautifully, blissfully ignorant, it is actually so gorgeous,’ he sarcastically told her.
Speaking later in the diary room, Whitelock then expressed how genuine Scott was despite being famous.
“I would say fame has affected Aesha in no way at all,” he said as he looked back at their recent conversation.
He added: “I imagine the person that I’ve met in this experience is exactly the same as the person who existed before Below Deck.”
This year’s contestants on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! range from sports players to reality stars.
The likes of Nathan Henry from Geordie Shore, Nick Cummins from The Bachelor, Peter Hellair from The Project and gold Logie winner Kerrie Anne Kennerly all feature alongside Scott.
