Boris Becker will break his silence on his jail sentence and infidelity in an explosive new documentary for Apple TV Plus. The two-part bombshell titled Boom! Boom! The World vs Boris Becker will premiere on the streaming service next month on Friday, April 7.
Directed by Oscar-winner Alex Gibney (known for Taxi to the Dark Side and The Armstrong Lie), the show is said to “explore every aspect” of Boris’ life.
An explosive trailer has given viewers a sneak peek at what they can expect from the programme, producer by Oscar-winning John Battsek (One Day in September and Searching for Sugar Man).
Mid-way through the trailer Boris seems to address the consequences of cheating on his first wife Barbara Feltus with Russian model Angela Ermakova in 1999.
“She came in, she had a big coat on and she was heavily pregnant,” he said.

“I just can’t believe it,” Boris added as the trailer ramped up.
Another clip shows Boris sobbing as a voice-over speaks about his two-and-a-half-year jail sentence.
“I’ve hit… my bottom,” he says while dramatic music plays in the background as the tennis champ begins to cry while discussing the subject.
Right at the end of the minute-long teaser, Boris is seen smiling into the camera as he says: “That’s not the end yet.”
“There’s going to be another chapter,” he adds while winking into the camera as the trailer fades to a black screen with the Apple logo.
Documentary makers filmed with Boris for more than three years, right up to late April last year when he received his sentence.
An official synopsis for the programme reads: “The docuseries explores every aspect of the man who became a tennis sensation after winning The Wimbledon Championships at the age of just 17.
“Going on to win 49 career titles, including six Grand Slams and an Olympic gold medal, as well as his high-profile, sometimes tumultuous personal life.”
