Britains Got Talent viewers convinced theyve rumbled the identity of CGI cat Noodle

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were treated to a show first this week, when a CGI cat by the name of Noodle took to the stage to showcase a mysterious singer’s dulcet tones.

Performing a pitch perfect musical number, the animated creature danced, grooved and swayed throughout the performance, with fans at home loving every minute of the unique entrant to this year’s competition.

One question that remained on everyone’s minds however, was who exactly was doing the singing, as it sounded like a skilled professional.

Countless fans were curious about the identity of the mystery singer, with plenty of viewers at home floating their own theories about which performer was hiding their identity, with several famous names even speculated by fans.

One fan was even convinced that the entrant was all down to the producers as the CGI voice when not singing, sounded remarkably like the ones used in rival ITV show The Masked Singer.

“This singing cat act is an idea producers have come up with, off the back of Masked Singer,” theorised one fan.

Meanwhile another fan was convinced it was a former McFly singer who had taken to the stage as they wrote: “Tom Fletcher from McFly/McBusted, is the voice.”

Another viewer wasn’t quite so convinced, as they instead thought it could be iconic magician Marc Spellman at the helm as they added: “Plot twist: the cat is Marc Spellman.”

Before a fourth fan hypothesises that it was BGT’s very own Tom Ball doing the singing instead, as they commented: “That cat thing is 100% Tom Ball’s voice.”

Although the show gave no further hints as to the identity of the mystery performer, many fans couldn’t quite get their head around why someone with such an iconic voice would want to hide their face from viewers at home.

“Can I ask why the singing CGI cat just didn’t audition for #bgt as himself? Why feel the need to be an animated cat pls??” Questioned one fan.

Another viewer also agreed, adding: “The person that is singing can obviously sing so why are they hiding behind a CGI Cat?”

Not everyone was quite so impressed however, with some fans even likening it to an episode of Black Mirror as the show had permitted a CGI contestant.

"#BGT is giving me Black Mirror vibes,” they argued.

Before a second fan echoed the sentiment by adding: “I swear I’ve seen this on Black Mirror before!”
