BRITAIN'S Got Talent's first ever contestant has returned to TV for the first time since his show drubbing.
Dave Williams, who was 66 when he starred on the ITV series in 2007, stunned the judges when he arrived on stage with an ashtray and his keys.
He told how his special talent was scraping the tray to create a tune – which prompted a trio of rejection red crosses.
At the time, following his poor showing, Simon Cowell asked Dave: "'What else would you have expected?'"
He then quipped: "A little longer, actually."
Host Ant McPartlin then joked: "Ah well, Britain hasn't got talent.

"Bye bye."
Yet how wrong Ant was as – 15 years on – Dave has gone viral in a video showing his impromptu singing.
He appeared on Friday's Good Morning Britain looking completely different.
Nearly two decades on, he is 81.

Dave covers up his bald head with a hat, yet has aged well.
He appeared alongside his daughter and told how he recently burst into song at a care home.
Dave also opened up on his singing history, after previously having performed with the Beatles.

He joked how he hadn't mentioned that fun fact at his BGT audition – nor shared his singing talent.
Addressing his reality show rejection at the hands of Piers Morgan, GMB host Adil Ray then joked: "He's blocked many people in his life – I wouldn't worry about that."
