FORMER Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent appears to have ruled out a return to the Cobbles.
The Sophie Webster actress, 30, last starred on the show three years ago, before leaving to be a mum to son Mexx.
And in 2021 she and footballer fiance Kean Bryan welcomed their second boy, Monroe.
In an interview with OK!, Brooke admitted balancing family life with the demanding nature of the soap was too much.
She said: “Corrie for me will always be home, but Corrie’s ongoing – it’s forever there. They don’t have an end date. So for me, smaller projects will be doable because they have a start and an end date.
“It’s hard with Corrie because it’s set in Manchester and I don’t know where Kean’s going to be next season. I don’t want to be in a situation where one of you has to stay in one place, and the other somewhere else, especially while the boys are so young. I think anywhere could be a little adventure before we have to settle down and look for schools and give the kids that stability.”

Brooke made her Corrie debut aged just 11 and said the show always took priority in her life.
When she became a mum those priorities shifted and the inflexibility of filming the long-running show meant she had to make a choice.
“The hard thing about Corrie was that the hours aren’t a normal nine-to-five, or you couldn’t go part-time, or you couldn’t start after 10am," said Brooke. "There was physically no way that I could do it without having a nanny. And there’s Kean’s football as well. I didn’t want the pressure of making those decisions when I didn’t know how I was going to feel.
“I didn’t want that to affect my time with my first baby. I thought while I was able to step away, I did, and I felt that was the best decision for me and my family at the time.”

The British star previously hinted at an acting return on Vicky Pattison's The Secret To…podcast, but any role would need to fit in with her family life.
She said: "The boys need me at the minute, I haven’t got the commitment in me to say to Corrie 'let me come back'.
"Corrie was and is very full-on when you’re busy and it makes me laugh because I know everyone has kids, but I’m like: I’ve got kids so I can’t come at that time. I’ve got kids."
