CARLA Connor returns to the cobbles next week after flying to Spain in a last-ditch attempt to save Underworld from going under.
However, it's quickly clear the Coronation Street entrepreneur isn't being honest with her staff. What is she hiding?
Underworld employees were left in shock after Stephen Reid was revealed to be a serial killer and to have stolen a whopping amount of money from the business with Michael Bailey's help.
Carla Connor (played by Alison King) was devastated to find out his actions also led her to lose the promising Nippersnapper contract and, in an attempt to save her business, she flew away to Spain.
But by putting her work before him, Carla left her struggling husband Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) to deal with the possibility of going to prison as he was accused of murdering Stephen Reid.
Coming up next week on ITV, the outcome of Carla's trip is revealed as she returns to a frosty atmosphere with Peter.

With Stephen’s money seemingly vanished, Sarah and Carla realise they have no way of paying the staff, unless they can get the new client order out the following day and agree cash on delivery.
The move is risky as they know that, if they fail, they could be forced to shut up shop once and for all.
Carla lies to the workers and assures them that the bank has traced the stolen money and they’ll all be paid by the end of the day but she needs them to crack on with the order.
