BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood took a subtle swipe at co-stars as they shared their most embarrassing celebrity moments on air.
During Tuesday’s visit to the BBC studios, beloved presenter Jon Kay and his temporary co-host Nina Warhurst woke up the nation as they discussed the biggest news in the headlines.
One of the top stories of the show was the heart-warming story of youngster Harry Garside who met his hero Everton footballer Jordan Pickford over the weekend.

As the presenting duo discussed their most memorable moments meeting their childhood heroes, Nina couldn’t help but gush over the first time she met the legendary meteorologist on the show.
She teased: “I was giddy the first time I met Carol in real life” as Jon agreed: “So was I” before they threw the show over to her for the latest weather report.
But the weatherwoman was quick to shut down their compliments as she quipped: “I don’t think you two get out much, bless you. Good morning everybody.”
After listening to the weather forecast approaching the Easter weekend, the brunette beauty shared the embarrassing moment she met her childhood hero Damon Albarn from the hit group Blur.
She recalled: “In this very studio I met Damon Albarn from Blur – he’s my teen hero. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stop talking and he looked like he was about to fall asleep.
“I started telling him about various forms of transport I used to go to see my first concert to see him. He was very polite, bless him.”
Her cheeky co-host couldn’t help but chuckle beside her as he jokingly pretended to put an end to his misery as she recalled her dull introduction.

As the studio burst into laughter, the expectant mum begged the star not to submit the photo as she quickly moved on to the next segment of the show.
