Carol Vorderman hints at Im A Celebrity feud on brutal series

Carol Vorderman 'dodges talking about IAC's Janice Dickinson

Carol Vorderman has claimed the All Stars version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! was “brutal” and much harder than her first stint in the jungle. She filmed the new series in Autumn 2022 alongside Paul Burrell, Helen Flanagan and Fatima Whitbread amongst others. As she chatted to Lorraine Kelly about what ITV viewers can expect, she hinted at a feud with Janice Dickinson as she refused to speak about her campmate.

As Carol listed off her campmates, including former royal butler Paul Burrell, Lorraine remarked: “Jeez going on that show saved his life didn’t it?

“He went and got a medical, because we’re obviously following how he’s getting on and he’s doing well.”

“And Fatima, Fatima Whitbread, what a woman, what a story,” Carol replied.

Lorraine asked: “What was it, a cockroach, she got stuck up her nose or something?”

“Yeh but her story is…,” Carol continued before trailing off.

She then quickly brushed over her other campmates: “Janice Dickinson we’ll not talk about her so much.”

Lorraine simply replied: “Bonkers!” as Carol agreed: “Yes bonkers shall we say.”

Could that be a hint Carol and Janice didn’t see eye to eye in the South African camp?

Later in the interview, Carol said of the series: “There are a lot of head to head trials but it is brutal.”

“Was it harder than when you were in Australia?” Lorraine probed.

The former Countdown star exclaimed: “Oh like another level, another level.

“And we went to the South Africa camp which is where the Australian I’m A Celebrity goes. They go to South Africa.”

Carol went on to add the experience was “really, really hard”.

Earlier this week, Paul Burrell claimed signing up to I’m A Celebrity: All Stars saved his life.

He told Lorraine: “I went for the medical [and] they found a raised PSA level. I went to my GP and I said to him, ‘Am I still able to do the show?’

And he said, ‘Look, this can wait until you get back [from filming] and when you get back, we’ll continue with the investigations.’

“So when I got back, then I had an MRI scan and then I had a biopsy and then they told me that I had cancer, and then I had to go on the path of treatment.”

Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV from 9am.
