Viewers of Channel 4’s Alone were left squirming at their TV screens after a contestant demolished an entire squirrel – including its eyebrows.

The show returned for another instalment on Sunday evening (August 13) and followed the remaining contestants dropped in the remote wilderness.

The ordinary people all have had to fend for themselves in a bid to be the last person standing – meaning they'll bag the £100,000 prize fund.

And in the latest episode, completely alone in the north-west Canada, builder Louie was determined to get some food.

Using his bow and arrow, he managed to hunt down a squirrel.

He then proceeded to chomp on the animal while talking to his camera – and viewers were not keen on what they were seeing.

Things took an even grosser turn, when the 28-year-old revealed he had demolished the entire squirrel – leaving just the bones.

“I’ve eaten every piece of muscle of that face plus his eyeballs,” he said later on.

“I’m not satisfied, but it’s filled a void,” he added.

Viewers watching Alone were left repulsed and rushed to X to share their disgust.

“Yes thank you, we don’t need that in close up,” one person fumed.

Another said: “The squirrel eyeball eating though?!” while a third quipped: “Poor squirrel.”

Echoing their thoughts, someone else chimed in and said: “The poor squirrel.”
