Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is spiralling in Emmerdale as she struggles to move on from past events.
This week, Chas and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) spent time reflecting on the death of their baby daughter Grace. They opened up about how they like thinking about the personality Grace would have if she was alive, and what her relationship with Eve would be like.
Chas then wondered if Paddy would like to catch up over a drink but he declined, telling his ex that he had already made plans with Mandy (Lisa Riley).

This caused Chas to find comfort in the arms of a man called Simon (Robert Beck), who we know as Harry – the man who brutally attacked Caleb (William Ash) a few weeks ago.
In Tuesday’s (October 3) episode of the ITV soap, Chas faced an awkward moment when Paddy, Mandy and Eve walked in on Chas and Simon talking in the lounge.
Paddy then confronted Chas and wondered what on earth she was playing at, arguing her behaviour makes no sense after they spent so much time ensuring Eve adjusted to her dad and Mandy being together.
Over at Paddy’s, Chas was interrupted when Mandy and Eve returned from nursery. When Mandy made a comment about other plans for Eve instead of her going home, a frustrated Chas said that she has no idea what it’s like to be a mother.
After reminding Chas that she has raised Vinny (Bradley Johnson) like he’s her own, Mandy also mentioned losing her baby – something she kept secret for years.
Paddy then told Chas that after suffering a miscarriage, Mandy was left infertile.
Horrified at what she had done, Chas left and chose to call Simon again.
She said they could meet up after all but given Simon’s true nature, will Chas soon find herself in danger?
