Coleen Rooney has opened up on her secret miscarriage heartache and why she decided to stick by Wayne through his cheating scandals.
As well as opening up about her infamous'Wagatha Christie'trial against fellow WAGRebekah Vardyin herbrand new Disney+ documentary ,Coleen Rooney has revealed details about how her first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at ten weeks.
In an interview with MailOnline, the 37-year-old, who began dating Wayne when she was just 16 years old, described the miscarriage as a “horrible experience” that “knocked Wayne for six too”.
Colleen and Wayne then went on to have four children together, Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five.
Opening up on Wayne’s cheating scandals, Colleen told the publication: “It's my decision whatever line I want to go down. I like to think I'm strong enough to say, 'Enough's enough,' or, 'Let's continue and go forward with this”.
The star continued and said: “Every time he's gone off the rails, it's been a stupid, drunken, spur-of-the-moment thing. And for anyone who is still unclear on this point, the romance is still very much alive. My message is if there's something to work at, if the love's still there, why would you throw that away? Mistakes have happened, but I've always known Wayne's loved me”.
At the height of his footballing career in 2010, Wayne faced allegations that he’d cheated on then girlfriend Coleen with two sex workers the previous year while she was pregnant with their first child.
The couple told viewers of their problems on the docu-series, admitting they peaked in 2017, when Wayne was pictured in a car with Laura Simpson after a boozy night out. The antics left Coleen "heartbroken” as she recalled the moment on the show.
Thinking back to when she found out, she said she couldn't stay in the house and went to stay at her mums with her children instead.
The show also details how Coleen turned into an amateur social media detective to find an explanation for why private stories about her and her family continued to appear in the media.
Coleen insisted that she still has 'no regrets' over the way she publicly outed Rebekah, claiming that she put out warnings to her close friends beforehand.
The show Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story was released last month and can be viewed on Disney+.
