FANS have discussed producer Iain MacLeod's work on a forum and issued a major complaint.
Coronation Street fans have figured out one issue about the iconic Rovers Return pub and suggested some changes.
The iconic inn has been open to the public since 1960 with a series of characters taking the helm behind the bar from Liz McDonald to Jenny Connor.
Many Weatherfield residents have also been recruited to serve their neighbours over the years and have found themselves at the perfect spot to witness all the drama.
Commenting on Iain MacLeod's recent work behind the scenes as a producer, however, some ITV viewers have shared their frustrations, believing the Rovers Return Inn's potential is being neglected.
"Glenda is a breath of fresh air in my opinion and the perfect fit for the Rovers. Aside from Gemma and Sean, the line-up at the pub is strong at the moment", one of them commented before pointing out that its main issue is "the lack of customers."

"The problem is the lack of customers they put in there. You'd swear there were still some Covid measures in place the way they treat the place now."
And many other fans of the Manchester-based drama couldn't help but agree.
One of them immediately thought of The Queen Vic, EastEnders' own iconic venue which is always brimming with regulars and new customers.
"There seems to often be more staff behind the bar than customers. It’s a big problem at Corrie", this second fan penned, "if EastEnders can pack its scenes out with extras, there is no excuse for Corrie not to do the same."

This soap fan then gave a simple but drastic solution to allow more extras in pub scenes.
"If it’s budget, I question how the budget is being spent and whether 1) ITV should up it or 2) they should consider ditching long term deadwood cast (think the likes of Craig) who are probably on relatively big bucks", they concluded.
A third viewer quickly jumped in: "The show could easily lose Craig, Faye, Gemma, Chesney, the quads, Joseph, Sean and Izzy (although she rarely appears these days). I'd love if we had more location filming. It adds a tangible sense of authenticity."
Other forum users pointed out that the Rovers isn't the only spot in Corrie that could do with more customers.
"The Rovers just feels lifeless and redundant these days, it's almost like they should have a comedy tumble weed blowing through the bar, same with the Bistro, it just lacks any kind of atmosphere and life", one complained.
Another chimed in: "While I agree about location filming, even more important is that they start employing more extras to make the streets/pub/Bistro etc look genuinely busy."
However, a handful of fans added that the lack of customers in the Rovers could be a reflection of the current financially troubling times.

"Maybe the Rovers lack of customer is reflective of the times we live in? Saying that, the set needs better lighting", another viewer wrote.
One also pointed out: "For all about making the Rovers into a bustling pub as per the Queen Vic – I think in todays climate the Rovers has it right sadly. Hundreds of pubs are closing throughout the UK every month due to the fact that people can't afford to go to them anymore."
The Rovers Return Inn has recently been the scene of a horrific acid attack targeting Daisy Midgeley.
After a harrowing stalking ordeal, the Rovers barmaid was cornered by Justin who decided to make her pay for rejecting him by throwing acid in her face.
But Daisy was saved by Ryan Connor who was ready to get her to the altar with Daniel Osbourne.
