CORRIE fans are going wild with theories online as they prepare themselves for Spider Nugent's return.
After a photo was shared on Reddit, viewers of the ITV soap have worked out the character's future storyline.
Eco-warrior Spider Nugent is returning to the cobbles less than twenty years after his last appearance.
Soap bosses and spoilers alike have confirmed the character portrayed by Martin Hancock will be coming back as his former on-screen girlfriend Toyah Battersby (played by Georgia Taylor) is going through her own legal turmoil.
Since his return has been announced, eagle-eyes fans have been scratching their heads over the storyline he would be involved in.
But one of them seems to have a theory as they've spotted a food waste campaign poster during a recent tour of the set in Manchester, believing it could have a link with a future plot.

The poster reads: "Reuse Refuse. Saving Weatherfield from food waste."
A date is then included at the bottom of the poster: "Launching 5/8/22."
The Corrie fan shared the black and white snap of the poster on Reddit on Monday and fellow viewers jumped on the opportunity to share their thoughts.
Much like the first fan, they believed it would involve Spider's new storyline in Weatherfield.

"Spotted this little poster on the Coronation Street set tour. Possibly a feature of a future storyline?", the Reddit post reads.
"Possibly linked to Spider's return?", one fan replied as another agreed: "I wondered this too!"
A third one believed Spider's comeback to the ITV cobbles could be associated with another character's own future in the Street as they take on life in the spotlight as a local political figure.
"If so I can see it being like Maria's climate change storyline", the fan penned.

Another added: "Spider's returning? Yay!"
As mentioned above, Coronation Street bosses have confirmed Spider's return for later this year.
The nephew of Emily Bishop first showed up on her doorstep in 1997 and became known as Toyah's on-off boyfriend before leaving in 2003.
The pair moved away to London but Toyah came back to Weatherfield in 2016.
It was then said that Spider had moved to Peru and began to work in a school.
As his big return scenes will air in upcoming episodes of the long-running show, actor Martin Hancock said: "Having the opportunity to walk back onto the cobbles is fabulous."
"I’m so excited to be seeing a lot of old friends and picking up what Spider has been up to."
