Coronation Street: Ryan leaving Weatherfield
Coronation Street has seen two newcomers in the form of Courtney Vance (played by Stephanie Davis) and Cassandra Plummer (Claire Sweeney) with many fans theorising they could secretly be related.
In upcoming scenes, Courtney is set to have an affair with Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) which put the pair in some compromising positions.
However, it seems fans have already lined up another storyline for Courtney as they suggested she is secretly related so Cassandra Plummer, mother of Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall).
Speaking to Express.co.uk and other press about her friendship with Claire Sweeney, Stephanie said: “I have had so many messages in my DM’s because Claire Sweeney was going in.
“And because she is scouse and I’m scouse, they were going ‘This is it, your going in as her daughter’ and trying to put the dots together.

“I was reading it going ‘This is all so good’ so who knows we will have to wait and see.”
Courtney was first seen on screen on Wednesday night when she and Aadi began to bond over a kebab.
In upcoming scenes, their relationship delves deeper and they are soon caught out by Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney).
Will she be a good friend and keep it to herself or could she use the information and blackmail Aadi or Courtney?
