CORONATION Street's beloved café owner Roy Cropper will be in a shocking new plot as a troubled teenager makes a move on him.
The soap legend – played by David Neilson – will get a shock when young teen Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) tries to kiss him after a misunderstanding.
Lauren is Max Turner's ex-girlfriend, who recently returned to the soap after first appearing earlier this year.
After making a sad discovery, Roy tries to comfort the devastated teen, but she misinterprets his generosity and ends up making a pass at him, leaving him stunned.
Lauren first joined the ITV soap as part of the extremist grooming storyline.
Max was groomed and radicalised by a far-right group, which involved Lauren's father who is now facing an 18-year sentence.

Lauren returned to the street after months away hoping to reunite with Max, before she found out he had a girlfriend, Sabrina (Luana Santos).
Lauren actress Cait Fitton told the media: "She’s utterly heartbroken. Max was her last resort. She’s come back, and her whole world has just fallen apart; and I think everything she’s feeling is completely relevant.
"But the thing is when things get too much, we automatically explode and take it out on different people."
Upcoming scenes due to air next week will see Lauren get given the job at the café.

Meanwhile, she’s also in contact with her dad Reece (Scott Anson), who is in prison.
Cait added: "I think she’s inherited her dad’s beliefs and opinions, and she’s never been able to make her own choices and have her own decisions and make her own ideas of things.
"I think parents play such a big role within a child’s life that if you’re constantly surrounded by hate, do you know any different?"
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
