Coronation Street have shared a first-look at Ryan Connor's (Ryan Prescott) facial scars following the horrific acid attack last month.
The Weatherfield resident will see his injuries for the first time in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap set to air on Wednesday (April 19).
He finds the courage to face his fears and see the scars caused by Justin (Andrew Still) as he attempted to throw acid at Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan).

However, Ryan stepped in to protect Daisy, who was dressed in her wedding dress ready to go to the ceremony.
Carla Connor (Alison King) is there to support Ryan as he tells the surgeon he’s ready to look at his injuries.
But as he stares at his face the surgeon breaks the news that he is not healing as they had hoped and he needs a skin graft.
Daisy and Carla head into Ryan’s room only to discover him missing and his backpack gone.
A search party is organised but Daisy and Carla find Ryan by the tram station clearly traumatised.
Opening up to Ryan's reaction to seeing the full extent of his injuries, actor Ryan Prescott explained: "For Ryan, I don’t think he expects it to be as bad as it is.
"He has never seen major burns before so he doesn’t know what to expect and, because he has been in bandages for so long, he gets into a little comfortable zone with just wearing the bandages.
Once his facial injuries are revealed to him, it knocks it right out of him again.
He continued: "The initial glances are heartbreaking.
"The first time he sees his face, he is thinking, 'I am never going to have love in my life again. 'I am going to be the one that people look at in the street'.
"In that moment, all those feeling he was trying to ignore come rushing to the surface and he realises that there is no way this is going to heal and he is going to look like his burns haven’t been there.
"It confirms to him that this is going to affect every aspect of the rest of his life, no matter what."
Ryan went on to open up on the prosthetics face cast which covers his hole head leaving just a tiny hole near his mouth.
He said: "It can take hours to do a face cast but we were done in 45 minutes so I wasn’t sitting there for a long time.
It was quite relaxing if I am honest, because I couldn’t hear much or see much. It was just like being in a little cocoon, it was nice!
Davy and Gillian, head of hair and makeup at Coronation Street, were always checking in with me, every five minutes, asking if I could still breathe."
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and ITVX at 8pm
