Stephanie Davis discusses Coronation Street theories
Coronation Street’s Stephanie Davis revealed she was left hiding when watching back scenes of her character Courtney Vance.
Earlier this year, ITV fans watched as the newcomer set her eyes on Aadi Alahan(Adam Hussain) despite being married to businessman Darren Vance (Ryan Early).
As the duo’s affair was rumbled, their relationship sent waves through Weatherfield as Aadi’s dad Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) was furious his son got involved with a married woman and risked ruining a deal with Darren.
After being exposed, Courtney decided to leave her life of luxury behind and move into her own flat with Aadi to give their relationship a real go.
Speaking to Express.co.uk and other media publications, the soap star confessed that filming the early scenes with Aadi wasn’t always comfortable to watch back.

Following the split from her husband, Courtney tried her best to make Darren jealous by showing off her new beau by kissing him, a lot.
Touching on the scenes, Stephanie said: “I was watching it with Joe (her boyfriend) and his family the other week and I was literally hiding behind a pillow.
“I was like, ‘This is the most awkward thing- why have I done this?!’
“I literally wanted the ground to swallow me up, his dad was like, ‘Ooh bloody hell’. The scenes are very intense as always, but she does really care about Aadi.”

However, it looks as though the reality of no longer having a luxurious lifestyle is starting to sink in.
On Tuesday night, viewers saw Aadi confide in his sister Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) to reveal how miserable Courtney is and that she deserves better than what he’s able to provide.
Next week, Aadi gets a new job offer at Freshco stacking shelves and is thrilled to get more of an income.
To celebrate, he invites Asha and friend Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) over for afternoon tea, leaving Courtney feigning enthusiasm.
However, it doesn’t go as he had planned when Asha is running late and Courtney decides not to show.
As Nina and Lucas decide to tuck into the food not wanting it to go to waste, they’re taken aback when Darren unexpectedly shows up.
Delivering news from Courtney, Aadi’s world suddenly comes crashing down, which begs the question, where is his girlfriend?
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
