Coronation Street’s Gemma star in colourful transformation at Manchester Pride

Dolly-Rose Campbellwas spotted commemorating Manchester Pride alongside some other famous faces on Saturday (August 26).

The actress, who has played the role ofGemma Winter-BrowninCoronation Street since 2014, particularly stood out from the Pride march where other celebrities were also seen.

Dolly-Rose caught attention as she was photographed wearing a vibrant sequined dress while proudly waving the rainbow flag—an emblem synonymous with the LGBTQ+ pride and the fight for equal and human rights.

Pairing her glittering dress with white sneakers featuring rainbow laces and a grey crossbody bag, the 36-year-old soap actress perfectly completed her cheerful ensemble.

Dolly-Rose was visibly fully embracing the event's atmosphere, as she appeared to be showcasing vibrant hair extensions and glistening glitter makeup.

The Corrie star was seemingly radiating joy as she stood before the enthusiastic crowds assembled to witness the parade.

At the same time, Real Housewives star Tanya Bardsley was spotted elevating the energy on the rainy day by donning a highly daring pink outfit, participating in the LGBTQ+ parade with equal enthusiasm.

The brunette beauty dazzled onlookers as she stepped outwith some of her sizzling co-stars, Ester Dohnalová and Lystra Adams.

Tanya, 42, wore pink to make the boys wink, with her outfit made up of a tiny pair of bikini bottoms and an elaborate festival look.

The mum-of-four also appeared parade-ready, draping a caged ensemble over her bikini, featuring lines of pink gems that adorned her chest and skirt.

Nevertheless, for Dolly-Rose, Manchester Pride was likely an event rooted in a deeper meaning, as the actress haspreviously credited the people of Manchester for giving her the courage to come out .

The Salford-native revealed that she had been a long-time supporter of Manchester's gay pride festival before coming out as being bisexual.

Dolly-Rose, known for playing Gemma Winter, said: "I have been coming to pride for over a decade now.

She told the Daily Star in 2019: "The love and acceptance shown by the people of Manchester allowed me to accept my bisexuality and be proud of who I am."

The soap favourite has been vocal about her interest to help others come to terms with their sexuality as an ambassador for Manchester Pride.
