Coronation Street fans were served with plenty of drama last week, especially due to a character returning after five years in a surprising twist.
Soap actor George Banks has reprised his role as Henry Newton for new scenes, half a decade on from his last appearance.
However, that is not to say George has not kept busy throughout the years off the screens, appearing in various movies such as Badnaam, Patrick Swayze: Ghost & Demons, and the North Side.

But perhaps one of his most surprising gigs relied on his acting talents used to voice characters in video games.
The Corrie star has lent his vocals to the gaming world on more than one occasions, with the most recent gig dating back to 2021 in the Dead Man's Phone video game.
In the game, where players acts as a New Scotland Yard detective who investigates and solves murders through the smartphone of victim, George voiced a character named Matthew McPherson.

However, George’s first voiceover gig dates back to 2003, when he lent his vocals to the Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup video game as the character Lee Jordan.
The actor returned to the Hogwarts franchise again in 2004, in the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban video game.
It appears that George’s hard work in the gaming world paid off, as it launched his career in acting.
Now, returning as Henry, the Corrie character will be more than just a voice over.
Landlady Jenny Connor is forced to seek help and a new buyer in a bid to stop the pub from being destroyed.
After she's forced to ask brewery owner Philip Newton for help, hoping they might buy the pub from her, Jenny is disheartened to learn they do not want the venue after her attempts to impress them fall flat.
But, later in the week, someone seems keen, after bargaining with another resident they have their eye on. By the end of the week it seems viewers may know who will buy the pub and who the new owners could be.
In fact, the person in question is Henry.
