RYAN Connor's injuries were revealed in behind the scenes photos after the acid attack on Coronation Street.
Upcoming scenes on the ITV soap will see Ryan (Ryan Prescott) come to terms with his life-long injuries after protecting Daisy Midgley (Charlotte Jordan) from an acid attack.
Daisy's stalker storyline reached its epic conclusion in Monday night's episode.
Stalker Justin (Andrew Still) planned to throw corrosive acid at Daisy in a bid to stop her from marrying Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).
However it seriously backfired when Ryan impulsively intervened to protect her.
Ryan fell to the floor screaming in agony as some of the acid began burning on his face and on Daisy’s skin.

It shows actor Ryan in the makeup chair with realistic looking red scarring skin down the right hand side of his face courtesy of the soap's incredible make-up team.

Speaking on This Morning today, Ryan said Coronation Street would be focussing on Ryan's recovery long into the future.
"That's one thing we wanted to include was to have some longevity within the parameters of soap, which obviously moves very quickly," he said.
"We wanted to have some kind of longevity in the aftermath.
"Acid attack survivors go through hundreds of operations, multiple skin grafts and quite often a lifetime of post-traumatic stress disorder.
"We want to show the different stages of his recovery."
Ryan thanked his co-stars in a heartfelt tweet after the soap aired last night.
"Thanks for everyone involved in this storyline and everyone that tuned in tonight at home," he tweeted.
"This issue is way more prevalent than you'd imagine.
"Thanks again to Coronation Street for giving it the sensitivity and respect it demands."
His co-star Charlotte, who plays Daisy, said: "Feel quite overwhelmed with all the messages about last night's Corrie.
