Coronation Street fans could be in for a shock twist in the coming weeks, as some eagle-eyed viewers believe they have rumbled Owen Longford’s secret identity.
Owen and his business partner Angelique Simmons have struck up a deal with dodgy Stephen Reid at Underworld in recent weeks, while the former has also been growing close romantically with pub landlady Jenny Connor.
Stephen is clearly jealous of the pair – but fans think there could be even more to it.

After spotting an uncanny resemblance between Owen and Jenny’s former pal Teddy Thompkins, fans now believe Teddy was never really dead at all, and could just be biding his time to get back at Stephen.
Stephen was the one who supposedly murdered Teddy – the father of Jenny’s beau Leo – in an attempt to shut him up about his son’s death.
But now fans are convinced Owen and Teddy are the same person, in disguise to get back at the murderer.
Taking to Reddit, one fan suggested: “Does anyone think Owen looks the same as Teddy (Leo’s dad)? Jenny has a type!”
But someone else took it a step further, penning: “I mentioned in an episode that he’s been resurrected!” while a third fan gushed: “I actually thought I was seeing things last night, they look so similar.”
“I said this too!! He looks so similar,” another social media user penned.
“Is it me or does Owen look like Leo’s dad Teddy? #Corrie,” one Twitter user agreed.
As somebody else echoed: “#Corrie people are saying Teddy and Owen look the same – I lowkey suggested to my friend that they’re the same person and he’s trying to get back at Stephen.”
Other fans are sure Owen will be Stephen’s next victim as things progress in his romance with Jenny.

Stephen has been harbouring feelings for the Rovers landlady for months, but determined to scam Elaine out of her hard-earned cash, has committed to marrying her for her life insurance money.
Theories are now floating around that Stephen could cut off Jenny from those around her by picking them off one by one, with one Twitter user suggesting: “Think Owen might be a victim, Stephen likes Jenny.”
“Stephen: Oh hi Owen, can you stand at that spot marked X? I promise a barrel of 6 mini wheelie bins won’t hit you in the head!” somebody else quipped.
