Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) is rushed to hospital in a new Coronation Street clip, thanks to Glenda’s (Jodie Prenger) poor health and safety management.
Being the new girl at the pub is no excuse for skipping out that all important safety training, as Glenda finds out when a wet patch on the floor sends Jenny head over heels.
Literally.
It’s the first pub quiz after the mysterious ‘disappearance’ of Leo (Joe Frost), and Jenny is dressed to impress.
Meanwhile, Glenda has adorned her apron and is mopping up a spillage by the bar.
She takes no heed when Tyrone (Alan Halsall) suggests that she needs a wet floor sign, which is a mistake she will come to regret. Or will she?
As Jenny takes a tumble, Glenda swaps her Cinderella clobber for the snazzy blazer of the quiz host, wasting no time in getting the quiz underway as Jenny is carted off to A&E.
Was Jenny’s accident purely down to negligence, or did Glenda have a sinister takeover planned?
First the quiz, then the pub…
