Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) is left seething with rage in Coronation Street next week when she sets her sights upon Wendy Papadopolous (Roberta Kerr).
The returnee, formerly known as Wendy Crowzier, made a surprise appearance in the ITV soap on Friday (June 7), when it was revealed that she would be supervising Abi Webster (Sally Carman) with baby Alfie.
Abi remains in the dark about Wendy’s history on the eponymous street, not to mention her relationship with Ken Barlow (William Roache), but the truth will come to light on Monday (June 20) when Wendy is confronted by Tracy.
The above preview clip, taken from the edition of the serial drama in question, sees Tracy overcome with disdain, as she questions Wendy about her reasons for being back in Weatherfield.
Abi intercepts, confused about how the two known one another, as she explains to Tracy that Wendy is supervising her with Alfie.
Tracy is appalled by the discovery, adding: ‘I wouldn’t turn your back, otherwise she’ll stick Alfie on eBay and flog him to the highest bidder!’
Wendy is quick to make tracks, and she encourages Abi to follow suit. Tracy, however, gives chase, hurling abuse at her former nemesis.
‘Don’t show your face around here again, you evil cow!’, she exclaims. ‘Otherwise I’ll rearrange it for you.’
Abi is shocked by Tracy’s words, reiterating that she cannot ‘mouth off’ in the streets in such a fashion, but Tracy remains adamant that Wendy cannot be trusted.
Will her theory prove correct?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday June 20 at 8pm on ITV.
