Coronation Street star Sam Aston has revealed his heartbreak after losing two children in just three months.
The star, who plays Chesney Brown on the ITV soap, joined the Loose Women on Tuesday (August 8) with wife Briony to open up about their grief.
Host Ruth Langsford was joined by Janet Street-Porter, Frankie Bridge and Linda Robson to show their support for the couple.

Wife Briony first revealed her loss on Instagram, after she posted a series of photos with a pregnancy test that had confirmed she was with child.
But she had edited the picture with text to change the look to "Not pregnant anymore".
Since then, Briony and Sam felt it was right to be vocal about the heartbreak of miscarrying, which brought a huge response from fans sharing their own stories.
"It would have been so much harder for me to experience all of that if I hadn't have had other people talk to me before," she confessed.
She said the response after her revelation has been immense, saying she has had "hundreds and hundreds of messages" from people who had similar stories.
"I just felt very pleased that I had done it, because I was very nervous at first – I didn't want people to think I was making it about me," she added.
Fellow panelist Linda Robson gave her support, explaining how she felt when she lost her own baby right after having her second child Louis.
The Birds of a Feather star sympathised with Briony as well for trying to come up with reasons for why the baby was lost.
Briony admitted that she put her trust in the process, saying: "I thought 'this is the way it's meant to be for me'.
"It's the way I've had my outlook on life in general. I'd think 'My babies will come to me….at the right time," she said before welling up.
Briony would later shed a tear over her emotional loss, with the other panellists giving her vital support.
Sam also spoke on how the loss of the baby affected him, saying he did not know how common miscarriages were.
He said that it was a tough job to be there for his wife while she went through physical pain.
But he admitted that he felt "proud" of her for being able to open a conversation, which usually would be a taboo topic.
The pair ended the segment asking for people to be a bit more considerate when dealing with those who had lost children in the womb.
Briony recalled a story where someone asked her when her next child was on the way, despite having just lost a baby – which left her fighting back tears.
"I guess unless people know what you've been through, then they realise it is more of a sensitive topic and maybe don't bring certain things up," she said.
