Could a new(ish) face be about to steal the lovely Stacey (Lacey Turner) away from under Kheerat (Jaz Singh Deol)’s nose on EastEnders?
Ravi (Aaron Thiara) is the son of the Panesars’ family friend Ranveer (Anil Goutam). He’s been in prison – which is where we’ve met him before. Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) turned to Ravi for help when his life was being threatened in prison, and Ravi agreed on the condition that Phil obtained some information about Kheerat.
So clearly there’s beef between Kheerat and Ravi – but will that extend to a full-blown love rivalry when Ravi sets his sights on Stacey? It seems that he would do anything to upset Kheerat. He immediately starts flirting with her, though Stacey doesn’t give him any encouragement.
EastEnders executive producer Chris Clenshaw has described Ravi as being ‘Captivating, cunning and dangerous, and can go from pleasant to menacing with very little warning. Wherever Ravi goes, trouble follows.’
Stacey had better watch out as Ravi’s arrival is set to cause all kinds of chaos for the Panesars and for the rest of Albert Square.
