Danniella Westbrook has revealed she is back in hospital as she shared a snap of the ‘scary’ corridor.
The former EastEnders star, 48, took to her Instagram story to reveal she was back in hospital on Wednesday, sharing snaps of the deserted walkways.
A hospital carrier bag was seen in the corner of one shot as she told her followers: ‘Another day, another hospital.’
She then stared a short clip of her walking through the halls as she added: ‘Scary places, the only person in whole corridor’, along with a ghost emoji.
Danniella did not reveal the reason for her current visit, but she had recently been rushed to hospital with sepsis, which her representatives had said had been caught early.
They told The Sun: ‘Danniella suffered a sudden health shock. Thankfully the issue was caught early and dealt with by medical professionals.
‘Danniella has been released from hospital and is home recovering with the support of close family. We are grateful that Danniella hasn’t suffered from any major risks.
‘Danniella appreciates everyone’s immediate support and we will be sure to issue updates on her ongoing recovery accordingly.’
Sepsis, also known as blood poisoning, is a potentially life-threatening reaction, caused by the body’s immune system overreacting to an infection.
Danniella had later updated fans to say she was recovering in bed, telling them in May: ‘Another beautiful day missed in bed sick with this blood infection.’
The former Sam Mitchell star had recently appeared on the red carpet for a Celeb MMA party at the start of May, after having undergone surgery on her nose.
The actress has been undergoing surgery to rebuild her face, including having a rib implanted in her face after her former drug addiction left her with crumbling bones and a collapsed jaw and cheekbone as well as damage to her nose.
She was also famously left with a complete erosion of her septum due to the effects of cocaine breaking down the tissue.
