EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has revealed she’s started receiving messages from her followers who are all keen for tips on how to get onto the returning series of Big Brother.
The reality show, which used to air on Channel 4 and Channel 5, will be back on screens next year – this time on ITV2.
Danniella, known for her role as Sam Mitchell in the BBC One soap, featured in series 17 of Celebrity Big Brother, which aired in 2016.
She finished in fifth place and now, people are trying to get the gossip from her on how to be successful in the popular show.
‘So many guys are inboxing me, saying they want to do Big Brother. I told them it’s really difficult, it’s gonna be hard, you have to make sure you have a good audition tape’, she told OK! Magazine.
‘You cannot have a game plan!’, she continued.
‘You wake up in the morning, you go to sleep at night and that’s it.’
Daniella, who was recently praised on This Morning for ‘sounding the best she ever has’, also recalled one of the many negative sides to living with 16 other people.
She added: ‘The smell – you all sleep in one room together and it stinks! 16 people sleeping in one small place, it stinks.’
Danniella starred alongside Gemma Collins, John Partridge and Stephanie Davis in the show.
Big Brother’s return was announced on Monday August 1.
According to the show release: ‘The action will all play out under the roof of the iconic Big Brother house, which will be given its own contemporary new look ready for this reimagining of the show.
‘Clever tasks, nail-biting nominations and live evictions will be back, with the public once again playing a crucial role, voting throughout the series and ultimately determining the winner, who will walk away with a life changing cash prize.’
