Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has chosen to take some time away from social media sites after being targeted by trolls.
The barrage of hate has come after Danniella was pictured breaking down in the street in Spain after reportedly being fined over 3000 euros for a driving offence.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the Sam Mitchell actress revealed that she would be stepping away from her phone for a while.
‘Taking some time away from my phone, Insta and Twitter,’ she wrote, on a plain background. ‘Sunshine, beach, relaxing by the pool with a book. Sometimes ignore is bliss, love Westie.’
The Instagram story followed a main post on her account, shared to her 120,000 followers, in which she asked for trolls to stop sending hate.

‘I am seriously struggling with the constant trolling and hate I’m receiving. Please don’t send me hate,’ she said.
Danniella now has the rest of her holiday to look forward to, following a dramatic start, which saw her stopped at an Ibiza airport when her passport through up a warning to staff.
In 2018, Danniella was arrested and detained for 14 hours by police in Spain, later being convicted of fraud for failing to pay for £39 of petrol.
The actress recalled driving to Benidorm to see a friend but not having any money to pay for the petrol she filled her car with.
After arriving at her destination this time around, she was summoned to court to put the issue to rest, leaving with a fine, before being pictured crying in the street.
Daniella has had a dramatic few months which have seen her split from her fiancé ahead of his release from prison, before finding love elsewhere.
She also recently revealed that she has had her breast implants removed, and is hoping to sell them on OnlyFans for £40,000.
The surgery reportedly ‘reinstalled her faith in having surgery done in Turkey’, after a previous facial surgery was performed without anaesthetic and left her ‘frightened’ and ‘in a lot of pain’.
