THE success of Death In Paradise’s first spin-off could spark further off-shoots, its boss says.
Beyond Paradise, featuring Kris Marshall as DI Humphrey Goodman and Sally Bretton as love interest Martha, had a great start with 7.5million viewers.
Executive producer Tim Key reckons other characters could easily take centre stage in sister shows.
He told me: “Humphrey seemed like the obvious place to start but I really hope we can do something with Ardal O'Hanlon, who played DI Jack Mooney.
“Ardal is the most talented, wonderful human being I’ve ever worked with. We’d work with him again in a heartbeat.”
Mooney quit the tropical island of St Marie to return to London, after three series of Caribbean crime busting.
