Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) is in for quite the surprise in Coronation Street soon as he walks in on Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) kissing his 18-year-old son Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain).
The prospect of being a PA quickly turned into a dream offer once Aadi met Courtney and established they had a connection.
Aadi and Courtney have been sleeping together for weeks now, usually meeting up when Darren (Ryan Early) and Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) are in the middle of another business meeting.
What started off as a bit of fun has now turned into something more, as upcoming episodes will see Aadi refer to his new girlfriend as beautiful and intelligent, but Darren and Dev will remain unaware that he’s actually talking about Courtney.

It’s during this business lunch at the Bistro where Courtney and Aadi decide to sneak off again.
As they continue improving their tonsil tennis skills, Courtney and Aadi are interrupted when Dev arrives!
In the aftermath, as Dev and Asha (Tanisha Gorey) wonder just how long Courtney intends to stay for, she is chatting to a very smitten Aadi, revealing that she’s well rid of Darren now and they can make a go of things.
Towards the end of the week, in a bid to salvage the new Frescho deal, Dev promises Darren that he’ll have a word with Aadi and make him see sense.
But will it work?
‘It’s tricky because Dev is a nice guy and he doesn’t blame Dev but the reality is his son is sleeping with his wife and continuing to do business everyday with a man whose son is sleeping with his wife, is a humiliation that he’s not prepared to take’, Ryan Early said, teasing whether Dev’s future as a businessman is in trouble now Aadi and Courtney’s secret has been revealed.
‘He’s worked too hard to have to go through that humiliation. Darren doesn’t need Dev, Dev needs him more but then Darren thinks maybe there’s a way I can use him to my advantage. He desperately wants Darren’s business so maybe there’s a way he can use him to his advantage to maybe help his marriage survive or not, we shall see…’
