Dianne Buswell enjoys beach day during trip to Australia in 2022
Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell couldn’t help but have a cheeky swipe at Owain Wyn Evans over his huge loss.
The two stars were taking part in Celebrity Antiques Road Trip as they were joined by experts Hettie Jago and David Harper.
Going their separate ways, the duo scoured the shops of South Wales to try and find the best antiques to make a profit at the auction house.
From puppets, pocket watches, stools and Art Nouveau pendants, the pair were hopeful they’d be able to make a return from their £400 budget.
When it was time to see how much money they’d make, the former BBC weatherman was hopeful that his three retro motor signs would make him some cash.

The item was the most expensive thing that Owain had spent during the episode as he picked them up for a total of £160.
Sharing his reasoning for splurging on the signs, he told Dianne they “sang” to him.
As the bidding started at £50, both Hettie and Owain were excited they may make a hefty profit on the antique.
However, it ended up selling for £75 as the pair’s disappointment could be heard when the auctioneer finished the bidding.

Taking a cheeky swipe at the £85 loss, Dianne said: “Oh no, you lost about £100 there.”
As Hettie consoled Owain, the Strictly star decided to try and wind him up over losing out on getting extra money.
She continued: “Well done though, good effort.”
Sadly for Owain, the losses didn’t end there as the radio host failed to sell most of his items for more than he brought them for.
With a budget of £400, viewers learnt he had spent £365 in total and made a loss of £135.40 which left him with a total of £264.60.
Starting with the same amount, Dianne spent £385 and made a loss of £116.04, which gave her £283.96 overall.
Being declared the winner of the episode, the dancer called the experience amazing as she reflected on her time with Owain.
She said: “I’ve loved it, loved every second but I think we need to get back to our day jobs.”
