Dune: Part Two: Timothee Chalamet Advised Not to Seek Revenge in First Official Trailer

Against his mother’s advice to honor his late father’s wish, Chalamet’s Paul Atreides rises as a respected leader of the Fremen to fight against those who seek the end of House Atreides.

AceShowbiz -Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first epic trailer for “Dune: Part Two“. The intense trailer has a balanced mix of romantic and action scenes as Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) adjusts to life in the desert with the help of Chani (Zendaya Coleman).

The video shows Paul’s first attempt to ride the giant sandworm. “Don’t try to impress anyone. You’re brave, we all know that,” Stilgar (Javier Bardem) advises him. “Be simple, be direct. Nothing fancy.”

After planting a device on the sand to call the worm, Paul is running as fast as he can before plunging into the sand. Using his hooks, he finally mounts and rides the beast as the onlookers cheer for him.

Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh) grows anxious about the possible rise of House Atreides. “What if Paul Atreides were still alive?” she is seen asking. There’s a glimpse of Lea Seydoux as Lady Margot and someone’s eyes turning blue.

Shots of Glossu Rabban (Dave Bautista) and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen (Austin Butler) screaming interchange with fight scenes. Despite his mom Lady Jessica’s (Rebecca Ferguson (II)) advice to honor his late father’s wish to not seek revenge, he eventually rises as a leader who unites with the Fremen to fight against those who seek the end of House Atreides.

According to the official synopsis, “Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

Denis Villeneuve directs the movie with the script he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts based on Frank Herbert’s novel. Also starring Josh Brolin, Christopher Walken, Stellan Skarsgard, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Charlotte Rampling, the epic sci-fi movie will open in U.S. theaters on November 3.
