Eamonn Holmes looks almost unrecognisable as he meets Manchester United star | The Sun

EAMONN HOLMES looked unrecognisable as he hung out with a Manchester United star.

The broadcaster, 63, was having a blast in the company of Argentine World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez in the smiley selfie.

He shared it on Instagram and wrote: "On the pitch u may not want to run into Lisandro Martinez but off it what a nice guy."

Fans were confused and questioned if it was really him.

One commented: "Doesn't even look like Eamonn???"

Another posted: "Are you sure that’s you, Eamonn?"

Declan, 34, is Eamonn's eldest son with his first wife, Gabrielle, whom he met in 1976.

The pair were met by a driver as the presenter was helped into a waiting car.

The star also shares Rebecca, 32 and Niall, 30, with his ex-wife, whom he split from in 1996.

He went onto welcome Jack, 21, with Ruth Langsford in 2002, before the pair married eight years later.

Eamonn has been dealing with chronic back pain, which forced him to undergo an operation last October.

The former GMTV anchor revealed that just two weeks into his recovery from the op, he fell backwards down the stairs at his Weybridge home, slamming into the stone floor at the bottom.

Recalling his horrific injuries, he said: "Suddenly it was as if someone had shot my left knee from behind.
