Two fan favourites will return to EastEnders in upcoming scenes in the aftermath of a tragic death storyline.
Danielle Harold will reprise her role as Lola Pearce, who tragically died earlier this year after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Metro.co.uk can reveal that Lola will continue to appear in scenes relating to daughter Lexi (Isabella Brown) and through the video messages she recorded prior to her death.
Danielle isn’t the only familiar face that will be back on our screens as part of the storyline in question, however, as Patsy Kensit is also set to stage a comeback.
The Emmerdale star played Emma Harding, Lola’s estranged mum, in EastEnders earlier this year.
The Sadie King actress has been filming new scenes for EastEnders, which will air later in the coming months.

Emma, as viewers will recall, bonded with daughter Lola upon her debut, initially showing up to the salon where Lola worked to book appointments under the guise of Nicole.
The truth about her identity later came out in an explosive fashion, with Emma explaining that her reason for leaving all those years ago was because her ex, Lola’s dad, was abusive.
Lola ultimately decided she’d like to get to know her mum, with Emma vowing to prove herself worthy of being in her life, but the newcomer soon got cold feet as the reality of Lola’s terminal prognosis set in.
After making a departure, she returned to screens for Lola’s funeral, leaving flowers for the service before swiftly exiting the church.
Fans had been under the impression that this was the last we’d seen of Emma, but she will be back.
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
