FREDDIE Slater finally got the truth he was long hoping for but the outcome of his search has left him reeling.
As the lad took some time out on the roof of The Vic last night, EastEnders viewers pointed out one massive blunder.
Since first returning to the Square in late 2022, Freddie Slater has been keen to know who his father really was.
But in recent scenes of the BBC One soap, the lad played by Bobby Brazier was thought to be careful with what he wished for as he was told that his mother was raped by Graham Foster the night he was conceived.
During last night's instalment of the London-based drama (Thursday, August 3), Freddie was reeling from the discovery and after fetching himself a glass of water, he vanished.
Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) were all concerned when the youngster went AWOL and tried to find him.

But when their efforts seemed vain, it was revealed to viewers that Freddie had snuck up to roof of The Vic, standing on the railings with tears in his eyes – and horrified viewers took to Twitter.
Many of them complained that Freddie managed to find his way up to the roof without being noticed, which seemed unrealistic to them, particularly as the Vic roof is far from a safe place to be.
"Why does every f***er in the Square somehow have access to the roof of Vic please?", one soap viewer fumed as another added: "Sorry but how are people still able to just walk onto the roof of the Vic so easily?"
"How did Freddie gain access to the pub roof without being seen?", a third soap fan questioned.

"Now how did Freddie get up there unnoticed… enough people have died from that roof so get down son", one social media user pointed out.
Freddie met Graham Foster in recent scenes of the long-running soap and the villain twisted the truth to explain his absence from his life.
This prompted viewers to speculate that Freddie could turn his back on his mother and the rest of the family as a result of Graham's lies.
