EastEnders fans have 'worked out' that Amy Mitchell might become pregnant in a future storyline, as they predict her and Denzel's new found connection will blossom into romance.
Despite having tormented her in recent weeks, Denzel stood up for Amy after he saw Nugget and Tommy Moon teasing her, and asked them to leave her alone.
The boys ignored Denzel, but instead, he apologised for their behaviour – prompting Nugget to ask if he had a crush on Amy.

While Denzel denied it, it looks more than likely that he has fallen for her, after the two share a kiss in tonight's episode (September 29).
However, fans think that as Amy and Denzel grow closer to one another, romance could blossom between the two – leading to a possible pregnancy.
When one Twitter user asked fellow fans "Do you think Denzel and Amy will date each other?", more than 87% of Twitter users said yes.
In a further poll, another Twitter user asked "Do you think Denzel should keep his distance from Nugget and persue things romantically with Amy?", to which 100% of participants replied "yes."
With viewers convinced that Amy and Denzel will pursue a relationship, some fans have 'worked out' that Amy might become pregnant in a future storyline.
One fan commented: "Amy is defo heading for a teen pregnancy storyline."
When another viewer asked in a Twitter poll "What will happen with the Denzel and Amy storyline," more than half of fellow fans also seemed to agree that Amy will become pregnant by Denzel too.
However, after Martin Fowler spots Amy and Denzel holding hands in the square, Amy's father Jack becomes protective – so could he split them up before their romance blossoms?
Fans will remember that Amy is the daughter of Roxy Mitchell, who died in a tragic swimming pool accident alongside sister Ronnie.
It's understandable that Jack would be protective of his daughter, but many fans are calling for him to let Amy live her life and give her some space.
"I hope Jack leaves Amy alone and let's her be happy going forward," said one viewer.
"Jack to me comes across as too overprotective of Amy. She's a teenager not an adult yet, but Amy needs to live her life a bit more," added a second.
A third commented: "Jack needs to stop covering Amy in cotton wool."
Meanwhile, other fans wondered what Roxy would think of her daughter having a boyfriend, with a fourth commenting: "Would love to see Roxy and Ronnie's reaction to Amy have a boyfriend."
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
