EastEnders fans believe they’ve “figured out” the real identity of newcomer Nadine after both Jay and viewers noticed a striking resemblance to Lola Pearce.
Jay was seen returning to the Square after a night of walking having not been able to sleep due to grief.
He stumbled across a blonde who bore a striking resemblance to his late wife, Lola, with her blonde hair, racy outfits and giant hoop earrings.
The pair chatted briefly but Jay soon learned she was an escort and abruptly leaves her standing the street after she goes meets with a client.
But despite the backstory being fed to viewers, fans believe there’s much more to Nadine that meets the eye.
BBC viewers suspect she is the secret half-sister of Lola, brought to the square by their shared mum Emma.
“imagine if nadine is lola’s half sister , and why emma’s back in Walford. her sleeping with Phil and blackmailing him; and nadine going closer to jay,” theorized one fan.
Another agreed, adding: “Nadine is gonna turn out to be Emma’s daughter and Lola’s sister I can already tell,” while a third echoed: “nadine is either a figment of jay’s imagination or emma’s secret daughter (lola’s sister) and it is her doing.”
Elsewhere, Suki had convinced Denise to give a statement on the incriminating video of Ravi against Jack and Chelsea’s wishes, but due to their lack of physical evidence and Suki’s previous failed statement, the police had dismissed them both.
Denise had tried to cut her ties with the Panesars, but later, Suki had arrived and revealed a new plan – she was going to secretly record Ravi’s confession. Unbeknownst to the pair, Ravi had been secretly listening.
Phil had struggled to contain his guilt as Kat had excitedly prepared for the wedding.
When Louise had called Kat to tell her that Phil had said Keanu couldn't have access to Peggy, Phil had headed to the Arches and lied that he had already told Kat everything about Emma, and she had forgiven him in an attempt to keep Keanu quiet.
Stacey had been terrified when she had bumped into Theo in the Square gardens. Jack had consoled Stacey back at No.29 and had agreed to help Stacey get an interim stalking protection order and be on hand if anything had happened to deter Theo.
