EastEnders Ravi future ‘sealed’ – Kheerat return, sinister Gray twist and murder

Ravi Gulati has found himself in trouble this week as his crimes seem to be catching up with him.

EastEnders fans will remember that the drug dealer, played by Aaron Thiara, murdered businessman Ranveer Gulati (Anil Goutam) in October 2022 and convinced Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) into believing she was the one who committed the crime.

But during Wednesday's episode (September 13) of the BBC soap, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) stole Ravi's laptop and watched the harrowing footage of Ranveer's murder.

As Ravi's web lies continue to unravel, Daily Star has looked at the different possible outcomes for the Walford criminal.

Arrested

The simplest ending for Ravi could be that he is arrested for his crimes.

Last year, Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) was arrested and later sentenced to life in prison for murdering Ranveer, covering for his mother Suki who he believed was the true killer.

But now that Denise has discovered the truth, it could only be a matter of time before the evidence is presented to police and Ravi is arrested.

Sharing their thoughts online, one person wrote: "Suki finds out she isn't actually a murderer and Ravi is jailed.

Another added: "I think this is all going to culminate to a head where Ravi will be imprisoned and Nish will d*e either as the body in the flashforward or something else."

Kheerat return

If Ravi is arrested for killing Ranveer, then that means police would have no choice but to arrest Kheerat, who could easily make a return to Albert Square.

When Daily Star asked artificially intelligent “creative” tool Bard AI about Kheerat's possible comeback, the system said: "Kheerat took the blame for Ranveer's murder and was sentenced to life in prison, but he could be released if new evidence comes to light that proves his innocence.

"If Denise exposes Ravi as the real killer, this could be enough to get Kheerat a retrial."

It added: "He is a popular character and his story is far from over."

Gray link

EastEnders fans seem to think that Ravi has some sort of link to serial killer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith).

Gray unleashed havoc on the square for two years, murdering Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White), Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) and wife Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) and attempting to kill several others before he was arrested in March 2022.

As Ravi wasn't released from prison until July of that year, fans believe the two must have come into contact with each other behind bars.

Speculating online, one person shared: "Imagine if Ravi and Gray team up at one point – that would be deadly especially for Chelsea. Ravi was released in July last year so there is a chance that Gray and Ravi may have crossed paths briefly in prison as Gray went to prison in March last year."

While a second penned: "Right, am I properly over thinking this, but what if Ravi asks Phil to help use his connections in prison to scare off Gray ? Ravi and Phil have history of knowing each other whilst they was in prison as well anyway so….."

Bard AI supports the theory, with the system saying: "Ravi has a criminal past and has been in and out of prison, while Gray was imprisoned for murder. It is possible that they met while they were both incarcerated."

Christmas murder victim

Since February, fans have been speculating what man is going to die at Christmas and plenty suspect it will be Ravi.

Viewers have theorised that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) could be the one to murder his son during the festive period, with one writing: "Nish's exit is going to be him killing Ravi isn't it?"

A second suggested: "After tonight's episode I am more convinced that Ravi is now the favourite to be the death at Christmas 2023. His secret criminal gang will mean he makes enemies quicker than what Nish will!"

While others have claimed Ravi could be the one to kill Nish, with one speculating: "I'm so confused with the relationship between Ravi and Nish. Maybe Ravi kills Nish on Christmas Day and the women find the body. Maybe he tries to frame them."

Another agreed: "I’m calling it now – It will be Ravi who kills Nish at Christmas".

Although fans are divided over who might be the murder victim, many are certain that it will be either Nish or Ravi.

EastEnders airs Monday until Thursday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
