Zack Hudson (James Farrar) and Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) struggle in the wake of recent events and end up arguing about leaving Peach at the hospital, but there’s a big shock in store when its revealed that their daughter’s existence isn’t legally recognised.
Zack takes solace in the hospital faith room and Whitney later softens to the idea of spending time with Peach after speaking with a nurse, with both Zack and Whitney sharing a tender final moment with their daughter before saying goodbye.
Ash Panesar (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha), meanwhile, receives exciting news when she’s re-offered a job in Canada. Nish (Navin Chowdhry) tasks Suki (Balvinder Soap) with trying to dissuade her from leaving, but Suki does the opposite, instead ensuring her daughter spreads her wings.
Suki subsequently tells Nish that there was nothing she could do, but Nish soon realises what she has done, and threatens her in harrowing scenes.
Elsewhere on the Square, Callum Highway (Tony Clay) is given a promotion to Trainee Detective Constable, but his first day on the job proves challenging when his new colleagues give him a nickname.

Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), meanwhile, tasks him with checking out the CCTV footage of Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and he’s set to make quite a discovery while doing so, before confiding in Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), who offers him some advice.
But just what will Callum do?
