EASTENDERS actress Melissa Suffield has revealed her "belly overhang" in a candid post which also flashed a cheeky new tattoo.
The mum of one, who played Lucy Beale in the BBC soap from 2004-2010, goes by the instagram handle @the.confidentmama and is often candid about body issues.
Melissa, 29, who shares her son with husband Robert Brendan, posed in a black lace bra and matching knickers for her latest Instagram upload.
She went make-up free and tied her hair in a bun as she flashed a beaming smile.
Melissa then shared a second image, which she teased: "Swipe for a surprise ✨❤️🔥"
It showed her pulling the waistband of her lingerie up to reveal an inking of swirling writing on her groin.

In her caption, Melissa gave a body-confident boost to fans as she wrote: "A reminder that belly overhang affects LOADS of us, pregnancy related or not. It affects people of all shapes and sizes, sometimes it’s fat, sometimes it’s skin, sometimes it’s as a result of a scar, sometimes it’s temporary, ALWAYS it’s beautiful.
"It doesn’t have to be something you’re ashamed of, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re unhealthy, and you’re most certainly not alone. 💕
"Hands up who’s got a lil belly overhang?"
She then added: "Ps- this new @curvykate Lace Daze set is SO comfy, and available in black or a beaut mango colour. PR."

The body positivity campaigner recently hit back at trolls who cruelly branded her body "disgusting."
She shared a powerful video to her instagram account, where she posted some of the cruel comments keyboard warriors have sent to her about her figure.
And then in a bid to prove how little she cares about their opinion, the body positive star then disrobed and showed off her curves in her animal print undies.
As the track Gangster's Paradise played in the background, Melissa struck flirty poses and laughed as some of the mean messages trolls have sent her flashed up on screen.
One said: "Your body is disgusting".
A second read: "Put it away".
"Why do you keep saying post baby body" asked a third. "Your kid is two years old."

The video then saw Melissa, who is no stranger to posting in her underwear, cover the screen with her hand and in the next frame, she was dancing and posing in her lingerie.
Refusing to be shamed, text flashed up on the screen saying: "I don't care what you think of me. And that gives me power."
