ELLIE Goulding has reportedly ended her romance with Tory peer Zac Goldsmith, because she's hoping to fix her marriage.
Back in July, The Sun revealed pop star Ellie, 36, was being supported by multi-millionaire Tory Zac, 48, following her split from her art dealer hubby Caspar Jopling, 31.
A source has now told the Daily Mail the pair are no longer an item and that Ellie is keen to rekindle the spark with her ex.
They said: "They were categorically an item, it happened independently of matrimonial issues on both sides, and the romance is now categorically over. Ellie and Zac have ended their relationship and have not maintained contact.
"The relationship had nothing to do with the breakdown of either marriage, but Ellie wants to fix her marriage for the sake of their son and Zac is fully concentrating on his environmental work.
"They were an item, but it had been stalling. Caspar made an ultimatum after they were picutred together so they agreed to end all communications."

Representatives for Ellie and Zac have been contacted for comment by The Sun.
Earlier this year Zac, who quit as an environment minister in July, split from second wife Alice Rothschild, 39, other to three of his children.
His first wife was former model Sheherazade.
Zac resigned from the Government after he was asked to apologise for comments he made about the Partygate probe — departing with a blast at PM Rishi Sunak for being “simply uninterested” in the environment.

Ellie and Zac were pictured enjoying lunch together at posh cafe The Garden in central London in June 2022.
They were both seen carrying a copy of a book called Rewilding The Sea: How To Save Our Oceans by environmentalist Charles Clover.
The pair were seen later that evening at The Wolseley in Mayfair before they both attended a book launch.
In October, Ellie enjoyed a night out at swanky private members’ club Loulou’s in Mayfair — and it was reported she was joined by Zac.
Ellie and Eton-educated Caspar, 31, had a son in 2021.
They met through mutual friends, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
Zac’s relationship with Alice started behind the back of Sheherazade, with whom he has three children.
