Emmerdale fans believe time is ticking for Caleb as they suspect Kim Tate is onto him.
Caleb was recently revealed to be the son of Kim's late husband, Frank Tate, and arrived in the village with the intent of taking back Home Farm from the feisty businesswoman.
The newcomer, played by Waterloo Road star Will Ash, has also dragged his son, revealed to be Nicky, into his plan for revenge.
During Thursday's instalment (April 13) of the ITV soap, Kim told Dan that someone had informed her associates in Dubai that she was having financial troubles.
Later in the episode, Caleb convinced Kim that going to Dubai was the right move to prevent their developers from pulling out.
Caleb insisted that he could look after things at Home Farm, with Dan agreeing it was the right call.
But after seeing Kim cave so easily, fans took to social media to theorise that she knows more than she is letting on.
"Kim is on to Nicky and celeb…. She is just playing along…," wrote one viewer.
A second fan added: "Surely this is the point Kim starts to become suspicious with Caleb suggesting/being adamant she goes to Dubai?"
Another noted: "Kim normally always plays her business cards close to her chest but lately she’s one big open book…"
"Kim knows what Caleb & Nicky are up to as she’s drip feeding information to get back to them, she’s telling them what they want to hear," shared a fourth.
While someone else said: "Kim's got a plan. She's on to Caleb that's for sure."
Before leaving, Kim informed Gabby that Caleb would essentially be running things in her absence.
It seems the cracks are already starting to show as tensions continue to rise between Caleb and Nicky.
As Nicky told his father he didn't know how much longer he could stand lying, Caleb insisted everything was coming together.
